My son, a Braves fan but an admirer of outstanding players regardless of who they play for, says it's great to know that he's not the only person pulling for Pujols.?ÿ

My son also says that Pujols may finish as the all-time RBI leader, but he's not sure, and I haven't checked the record books. Hank Aaron drove in a lot of runs; I'm not sure what the career record is.

Anyway, Go Albert!

The juiced players and baseballs turned HR records and the national pastime into the WWE. Plus now it seems acceptable to either HR or strike out with no other strategy involved. Kids would rather play and watch soccer. I'd be surprised to see it around in 15 years.?ÿ

Hank Aaron hit 755 home runs.?ÿ The 2021 World Series rings that were given to the Braves contain 755 diamonds (tiny to be sure).?ÿ The jeweler who made the rings is selling exact copies of the rings for $25,000.?ÿ I believe I'll stick to the only jewelry I wear, my wedding band, and it's just plain gold.?ÿ When we got engaged gold was $35 per ounce.?ÿ If you bought the diamond they threw in the rings at no extra cost.

I thought long ago that soccer would replace American football, but I don't see it happening yet.
