SWMBO and I went for her Saturday morning walk this morning. Church isn't open so today was an extra walk day.?ÿ
We go uphill for a couple of miles then down back home, on the way down there is a 10' wide sidewalk. A lone senior was walking up towards us and as we passed she we pulled to our right towards the back of walk and she pulled to her right balancing along the top of curb, the whole process was weird.?ÿ
SWMBO looks at me and says; "well, you can tell she's a six-footer." I hadn't heard that one yet.?ÿ
I know this social distancing is really irritating SWMBO being a very open outgoing personality,,,,,,,,,me on the other hand, I'm kinda digging it. I haven't had to yell "get off my lawn" in weeks.?ÿ
I never thought I wouldn??t miss my renegade Grandchildren. ?????ÿ
As ye sow, so shall ye reap.
@flga
I miss seeing my grandsons lately, but we talk almost every night. This is the first I've been aware of "missing" something or someone.
But since they are technically out of school until this fall we have lots of fishing planned...as soon as the fear of death passes...
3 of my grandsons usually come and visit for a week in March.
I sent them a message a few weeks ago when this epidemic hit the news and told them to wait till the 4th of July.
Been spending my downtime reducing office space and by then I may have created a bedroom for them.
My kiddos are 11,8, and 4. They miss their grandparents dearly. We normally do a Sunday Lunch gathering with all the grandkids. It's been over a month since the family was together. I would bet that when the smoke clears all of us "younger" parent will be shipping the kids to grandparents for a few days. I can't wait.
