My buddy says he's coming by to drink some beers around 2030 hours.
He had a date so I really didn't expect him. I just started to cook supper and he calls and on his way. Fortunately, I can pull all the supper from cooking too much so it's be ok.

Then one night about 5 years ago, I head up to the beer about dusk. It was pretty much dark when I get back and my landlord in out here mowing the lawn with a miner's light strapped around 2200 hours (10 pm!!!). REALLY???!!!

Apparently I'm ok with it. Me and my are sitting out last weekend with a beer. He wondered what time it was. I chimed up with a time claiming it would be within 10 minutes +/-. I was only two minutes off. He thought I had a watch. I haven't worn a watch or had a cell phone. He tried to test on 30 minutes to two hour intervals. I was pretty close for not wearing a watch.

OOOPSS.... there's my buddy just walking in.... gotta go.

I like to play that game too. I am usually pretty close too. At least that is what I say.

Mine just gets reliable, then the clocks shift an hour. For "Daylight Savings".

We left for Trimble Dimensions last Sunday morning. Gained an hour because of daylght savings change night before. Flew to Atlanta, lost an hour. Flew to Vegas, gained 3 hours. Drove to Grand Canyon, lost an hour. Drove back to Vegas, gained an hour. Flew to Atlanta, lost 3 hours. Got home to Ky, gained an hour. Net gain 1 hour, but not sure what day it is.

I know that feeling. Moved from Central to Eastern. Two days later I spend the day in Central then go home to Eastern. Within a week I'm on a plane to Pacific for four days. Then off to Central for the next four days with a three hour layover in Mountain. Then home to Eastern with a three hour layover in Central. Three days later I'm back in Central for a day, then home to Eastern.

I normally am within 15 to 30 minutes of the correct time during the day. Night is nowhere nearly so accurate.

That reminds me of landing in St. Louis 10 minutes before taking off in Korea. I am still certain the Army owes me money...

If I don't set an alarm I will wake up between 5:21 and 5:25 A.M. without fail - weekends and holidays included - been doing it for years. Funny thing is, I was never in the military.
