Today they posted the following message and picture.?ÿ Seeing Dorothy and the Wicked Witch of the West suggests Oz may really be in Oklahoma instead of Kansas.
My daughter and Son in Law live on Lawton, OK and had a tough down by them several days ago.

Just got through driving past there a few hours ago.?ÿ Kendall's sure has some good groceries although it's been a few years since I ate there.?ÿ They've got a chicken fried steak that's big as a Cadillac hubcap.?ÿ It hang's over the plate all the way around.?ÿ And the size is not necessarily the entire allure.?ÿ The quality of the food and the prep is excellent.?ÿ And for desert they've got an equally humongous cinnamon roll.?ÿ One roll will literally feed the whole table.?ÿ?ÿ
If you're ever in Noble and Kendall's is closed (it happens) there is a little diner across the street called Tiffany's.?ÿ It's a good down home little scarf-and-burp diner that has a good corner on their own cuisine.?ÿ And yes...you can have Breakfast at Tiffany's. 😉
I have seen their Thanksgiving turkey for the whole family-sized platter that is engulfed by the world's biggest chicken fried steak with about a half gallon of gravy on top.?ÿ Plus a regular-sized plate full of the side dishes, plus a bowl of grilled onions you can spread on top, if desired.?ÿ It seems if you can eat all of it at one sitting, it is free.?ÿ Saw a picture of a young fellow who gulped it all down in 28 minutes.?ÿ Thankfully, there was not another picture of him 15 minutes later spewing it all back out.?ÿ Makes my chest hurt just to think about it.?ÿ How do you spell coronary?..............K E N D A L L ' S.

He was a hero.?ÿ They've erected a statue of him in the parking lot on the very spot he blew up ...?ÿ 😉
I didn't realize they had such a challenge.?ÿ And you're right.?ÿ Folks with arteries that are already half clogged don't have any business trying to ingest a gallon pitcher of their fine cream gravy.?ÿ At least not unless you can produce a copy of your last will and testament before placing your order.?ÿ
I've only been to Big Daddy's Smokehouse in Noble. Big eats!
