Pickle juice is the trick. I can usually tell if Im going to be cramping up at night because they usually start while Im watching tv before bed. Drink some before bed and they stay away. I actually like it, so probly drink more than necessary. Juice ?ÿfrom Vlasic kosher dills taste best
I am glad you reminded me of this as I used to buy that very same stuff, same brand and size from Amazon so I guess I will have to get me some more
Not really, I like bourbon and a cool Corona but don't have any in the house.
I second the magnesium suggestion. I take a supplement every other day, otherwise I have the same problem as you.
pickle juice will stop them within 2-3 minutes
I keep a glass at bedside all the time

GOOD advice above.?ÿ
Personally, I've been salt deficient most of my life. Salt, and electrolytes.
Dill juice can help this.
I get Himalayan salt, (sporting store, big rock) break it up with a hammer. Fill quart jar with it. Add good water. Set in window. It percolates. (Glass or plastic, no metal to react with) then pour a little into my drinking water. My overall health has improved. No cramps.?ÿ
Many of American health problems are deficientency related, due to refined foods. Eat more food, that's not refined.

JAS if nothing above works drink a water goblet full of Wild Turkey. If ya get cramps you won't know it. ?????ÿ
@flga
You are speaking my language but a goblet full would be more than enough.
@flga Back in the '60s I quail hunted with a friend of my father. After a long afternoon of following bird dogs he would sometimes get cramps in his legs. He kept a half pint of whiskey in his truck for that reason. A couple of good slugs and his cramps went away. Always AFTER the guns were unloaded and put away though.

@flga I'll have to chime in with support for fill pickle juice. It also cures a bad case of hiccups.
I also use Magnesium Oil. You have to apply it every night. It eases the cramps but won't cure them.
