I need more tires, for the chariot. 235-85-16 load range E is what I am used to buying.
I just found out load range G tires are available. (For trailers)
Any advice on tires?
Thnks!

Are you more on or off road?
Are you loading your chariot heavy or do you typically take just what you need for the day?
Do you want a good "truck" tire or do you want something that will last 50-60K miles? The two rarely go hand in hand.
I want the ones that will last 60k miles. A bit of tread is good too. It is a 92 4wd dodge diesel, dually.

I have my preference but they don't last that long.
If I were in your shoes, I'd try Toyos or Michelins. I have a guy here that I work with that has Toyos on his Dakota (no not a duelly) that lasted him about 65K.
I personally like the Big-O XT tires because they like to dig and they self clean really well. They don't last 60K though. I got 46K out of them and Big-O has a great warranty on their tires.
I've been running that size for 20±yrs.
The Uniroyal Laredo brand I was using has been a good lasting tire, 45K miles 10ply. They have changed their tread design and local dealers have dropped it.
The HD/T comes in a 6ply ($158ea) or 10ply ($172ea)
Have been looking at the Hankook Dynapro ATm RF-10. I just don't know about the mileage they will provide. Claim is 50K miles.
Thanks for reminding me about that nice little expense. I know I won't buy Kumho Korean Krap next time for my '05 Tundra. I only got 35K miles out of them, and all 4 have at least one patch and I've had to replace 2 that blew the sidewall on a rock. But I drive in open desert and rocky trails quite a bit.
The Dayton's on my Jeep have about 20K and look like brand new.
I run only Michelin on my survey truck, also a Dodge diesel, heavy beasts!
I have been getting a consistent 60K+ out of every set for almost 1/4 million miles, they may cost a bit more, BUT I think they are a better built tire (run true with a lot less lead required), I lost two tires in the last 11 years by ruining the side walls off roading in rocky terrain, BUT never an on road failure, tread separation, blowout, etc.
I currently have a set of these tires.

Thanks guys!

I currently am running Dunlops on my 3/4 ton diesel and have about 60k on them now with a good 10+k left. I paid 740 out the door in 2008 now that would be about 900 at discount tire co.
Michelin makes a smooth riding tire. I like them.
I got [msg=70141]90,000[/msg] miles out of my Bridgestone A/T's. I probably could of have gotten more mileage out of them if I had rotated them on a strict schedule.
I switched to Firestone Transforce ATs on my Ford diesel dually a few months ago. They came highly recommended from some folks that live in their trucks. And with you having that Dodge, the tires will probably outlast the truck.
Just kidding. Any big truck made in America is a good one though I am partial to the Fords.
Don't switch over from the E load rating. That is the weight rating you need for that diesel motor.
