She may be 25, but will ALWAYS be my baby girl.
Anyway, she made her obligatory call to her parents on Thanksgiving. I didn't get to talk to her as I was out walking the dog and her phone was about to die, but the short time that she spoke with her mother she gave the news of an addition to the family. Boyfriend of five years proposed the day before. I forbid my wife from calling her parents to tell them and did not say anything to either of my parents to give Jessica the opportunity to tell them herself.

I'm posting this here because I just had to tell somebody.

We were actually worried that some mutual acquaintance would see it posted on Facebook and tell them.

How about I give the numbers without the area code and let you figure it out from there. Tim Reed and Joe Ferg are not eligable for this part.

Richard,
My baby girl did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. Wedding is February 1st.

My list of things to do that day goes like this.

Drink - get dressed
Drink - walk down the isle
Drink - 1st dance
Drink - Toast the groom, I mean congratualte the Bride and Groom
Drink - and drink some more.

Joe

Hey Richard, big time congratulations to you, and your whole family!!! Part of mine has just moved to your neighborhood, long way from upstate NY to AK. My little girls have been adventurous to say the least...Marine, and ski patroler, and finally they are settled down a little. One is in AZ and one is in AK, long way from NY, but they are both in really cool locations. Find a place to live and then find something to do to live there...as everybody that used to survey knows, they need to find a new job.
