Just watched Ben Affleck in "The Accountant". Great story and great dialogue.
I quit counting violently exteriorized head-shots halfway through the movie.
I'll be watching that flick tonight....I'll finish counting "violently exteriorized head shots" for you....:dizzy:

We saw it a few days ago at our $4 theater pub. Interesting movie, to say the least. I did not like it when they messed up his perfectly good perfects. 😛
Previews didn't look great to me, but maybe I will watch it now based on the RPLS Movie Review.

While I am always fond of a good Terminator re-run or Gunsmoke on cable late at night, I prefer something with a story line that holds my interest. This movie did just that. Yes there is a lot of violence that I personally could have done without, but the story is very well written and put together in my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing...didn't need all of that violence, but the plot was good.
Last night we went and saw "Jack Reacher #2"... All I kept thinking was "Man, Tom Cruise is getting old! ":scream:;)
Wife and I saw Hidden Figures over the weekend. Good flick. Yes they did take a few liberties with the timeline/facts, but as based on a true story it supposedly is true to events. It was a good movie, and I would recommend it.
All of that sounds dull compared to watching Big Jake at 2 a.m. featuring John Wayne with his real son Patrick playing his son, Robert Mitchum's son Chris as another son and Bobby Vinton as a third son while his youngest real son, Ethan Wayne, plays his grandson. According to IMDB, the director of the movie was getting too old to cut the mustard in the desert location so John Wayne filled in routinely as director but took no credit for it. Add in Denver Pyle and Jim Davis plus Richard Boone to make it even more interesting.
