The Mountain West says Boise State may not wear their all blue uniforms on the blue turf in conference play. It is about time, watching a Boise State home game is ridiculous especially the night games. It is impossible to see any action when the TV screen is all blue. I felt it gave them a huge advantage since they knew what play they were running while the defense had to rely on their eyes. Split seconds can make a huge difference on every play.
I predict BSU will lose some home games this year, with the orange jerseys giving the defense a decent heads up.
If their blue uniforms are so important they can go back to a green field.
I also think the all green on green gives Marshall an advantage.
Michigan State wears mostly white pants with their green jerseys.

We can use any advantage we can gain. Now that we have a decent coach, we are on the right track.
Hallelujah. That was just a head-ache to watch.

Boise Idaho and Cheney Washington are both downwind of this place. Nuff said.
I remember reading a story years ago, and I probably have these details wrong, where Carlisle Industrial School was going to sew football emblems onto the front of their jerseys prior to a game with Harvard. Harvard responded that if they did that, they'd play with crimson colored footballs.
Mich St would never cheat. The best cheaters in that conference are the Buckeyes, hands down. 😛
It won't make a bit of difference if the Broncos take the field in all-Blue or in pink tutus with ballet slippers. The result will be the same.
In a further attempt to level the (mostly green) playing fields in the Mountain West Conference, commissioner Craig Thompson is also expected to announce tomorrow that Kellen Moore has been declared ineligible to play in ANY Mountain West conference games, home or away.
To avoid any criticism that these rule changes unfairly target only one team, and to improve the national perception of the MWC in general, he will also announce that the University of Wyoming will not be allowed to wear either of their school colors (sh1t-brindle brown and mustard yellow) or any combination thereof, in any televised contest.
Why don't they issue one team 16 foot long poles and the other team a handle with a spikey ball on chain at the end then we can watch them beat the crap out of each other.
That is something I would bother to watch!
