I found some of my old license plates that I've had over the years... The one expired in '91, when I was 23... I would have ordered it 2 years before that. I think the one that expired in '02 was right after the other one.

Do you have survey specific License Plates on your work vehicle? I have CORRELL on my chariot now.

Back in the 80's one of my friends had an Audi. His plate read "DUTY". Same friend now has a Porsche 356; antique plate on the rear and standard MS plate on the front "NOTAVW". I've seen a Honda Odyssey van running around town with the plate "ILIAD".
Vintage Porsche guru mechanic Harry Pellow from Berkley (Berzerkly) CA got together with all his P car friends and got tags with 1's, O's and zeros in random orders and always managed to beat the cops in court over parking tickets as the cops couldn't get it right whether it was an O or a zero.:-)

I used to bowl on a league with a fellow surveyor in Roseburg, Oregon. He was a surveying teacher, too. His license plate said "LAT DEP".

One of my favorites was "HRUDUDU" which is taken from the book Watership Down. Hrududu is the word for "car/truck/noisemaker" in rabbit language.

Bumper stickers on a Lexus. Shame on you. I hope it doesn't ruin the paint.
