Kind of hard not to own it. And I too had never seen his mug; quite a beaming head shot. I don't guess a grumpy six day old beard in a orange jump suit would have been very appropriate though.
It's not surprising he is continuing to reach out to anybody that will listen. What else does he have to do?
Note that is five years ago.?ÿ He was arrested in 2005 at age 43, then states he is now 53.

What indicates that? I didn't see any of his write up mentioning wrongdoing.
You may recall that Hub frequently stated that he never got his Indiana license because he needed two semesters of physics (not sure if he embellished that to be calculus-based physics) to fulfill the education requirement in place at the time for licensure. His general studies degree likely didn't include any physics!
He plainly acknowledges what he is in for.
He states the charges he was convicted on, but doesn't explicitly admit guilt or express regret. Is that "owning it" ?
Thanks. He really took it hard when he realized how he had been duped by Hub. I'm sure I would have felt the same way.
Gordie did take it hard. I can only imagine. Ty must have really had the knack for smooth talking BS and conning folks.
When you consider what could have been written, I think so. But that may have been driven by the IDOC. So reasonable people can disagree.
I thought the reason was; he was convicted, in another state, on bank and mail fraud. But I could be wrong.
Pure speculation on my part: My guess is; he advocated for other prisoners, to keep them from...not being very nice, to him.
That reminds me. Remember how proud he was of getting rear-ended by a police officer? I believe we all tried to assure him that was nothing to be proud of.

If I remember, trying to give Hub advice was eerily similar to arguing politics with TDD...except Ted had a sense of humor.
