Good gracious that 2 glasses of water a day rule would really not fly.
Wow. I had to just stop reading them after a while. I don't think I've worked somewhere with nearly as many silly rules as those.

No coffee. I would have walked out. There has been only one time in my adult life I have not had coffee. That was in boot camp. No coffee until the crucible was completed. My DI came up and told us we now could have anything we wanted. I went straight to the coffee and then had steak and eggs. Lots of silly rules in a lot of places. This was a good read.
@olemanriver Having no coffee in this place would lead to an increase in workplace violence.
@olemanriver Back 20 years ago, I doubt anyone drank more sweet tea than me. Well, my family has a history of diabetics and I got to thinking about all that sugar so I quit making it at home. I still drink it when I go out to eat, but my typical day has me drinking black coffee, water and milk.
40 years ago I worked as an office engineer on the construction of the TVA Office of Power in downtown Chattanooga. We would have regularly scheduled progress meetings. The TVA employees were not allowed to drink our coffee, they had to bring their own. Some sort of attempt to prevent us from bribing them is what I was told. I told one of them, "They don't think much of you if they think you can be bought for a cup of coffee".
There were jokes about TVA going around. Why can't TVA employees look out the window in the morning? If they did they wouldn't have anything to do in the afternoon,
Why is there a line painted down the hallway in the TVA office. You stay to the right so that those coming in late won't get run over by those leaving early.
