What are you thankful for? I'll start.
- I am thankful to have a wife and daughter that love me and put up with me.
- I am thankful for friends that I consider part of my family that love me unconditionally (and invite me to dinner on Thanksgiving, LOL).
- I am thankful to still be sane after everything I've been through this year.
- I am thankful that work has been picking up lately.
- I am thankful to live in a country where I can be thankful for what I have.
- I am thankful for those who have fought for my country.
- Last, but not least, I am thankful for you, the members of this forum; without you, this forum would not exist and I would not be having this much fun (yes, even considering the P&R issues not too long ago). I've made a lot of new friends and reconnected with old friends.
I wish everyone here a happy Thanksgiving. Let us all remember the real reason why we celebrate it.
family, friends, health, a job and this forum:-)
I'm thankful to God, for everything.
I'm thankful for my father-in-law, who let me rip him off, and marry his cute little daughter.
I'm thankful for Wendell, but *NOT* like that gal, angel, that hangs around here. He has provided us this forum, so we would have a vent for our thoughts, and opinions, instead of blowing a gasket! (he he he)
I'm thankful for chicken, turkey, and all the other innocent animals, who died, so I could eat.
I'm thankful for GPS, and folks that disagree with me. (how else would I know I was wrong?)
And, I am thankful for my gang. They are growing up.
Grateful Nate
Wendell, Angel and of course, Miranda and Elly,
What are you thankful for?
This board, and the fact I’m still breathing!;-)
Y’all have a great thanksgiving, and save some turkey for Elly!:-)(she might like some stuffi'n too, my kitty did!)
I too am very thankful for my friends, near and far... I don't have any close family left, per se, so my friends are everything to me.
I am thankful for reasonably good health, and my growing business (albeit slowly).
I am thankful for great people on here that teach me so much, sometime even when they don't know I am watching.
The path that I have walked,
with all of its ups and downs,
it has brought to the place I am today.
I agree, my roads and traverse's have brought me to a very proud and thankful place!!
One daughter has 10 years in the Marines and is now a dispatcher for the National Park Service!!! The older daughter is a ski patroler for the premier ski area of the world, (Guess where) I lived there in the 70's and should have stayed. I can't think of any other blessing, or thing to be thankful for!!! Cept, I do want a new adventure to take me to my 70's!!! Used to say I was put here to carry my kids bags, lots of horse shows and such....everybody, "Just be THANKFUL" !!! And eat lots!!!
I am thankful for the direction my life has taken over the past year, that with the financial insecurity my family has learned to pull together, to laugh at those things we can't do anything about, and to look to one another for strength.
The tempering process is never easy or painless, but feel we are stronger for it.
I am thankful for a warm bed with a snuggly feline in it that I can go climb in right now because I am so exhausted.
Love you guys very much!!! :good:
I am thankful for... The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly; it's all good.
My family, my friends, my dogs too.
Most of all I am thankful for my health
Well said, Wendell. There are so many things to be thankful for in this great land. Contrary, to what a lot of people think, there is much good in the good old USA, as is evidenced by the character (characters) on this site. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
And thanks Wendell and Angel!! :good:
Good job. We can be friends, if you're thankful for my cat. (:
Amen,
Happy Day's Ahead!!!!!
jmac:-)
