Turned on the TV to catch the Patriots vs Ravens game and the first thing I hear is some gawdawful screeching like a cat with its tail caught in the door. It was supposed to be the National Anthem, but, it must have been something else. Pitiful.
Many people sing the national Anthem.
Very few sing it well.
My 8 year old son commented about how terrible it was.
Glad I was spared that. I'm betting my snow blower sounded better.

One of my biggest pet peeves.... An Artist is asked to sing the national anthem- it's an honor for them actually. A place to reverently showcase their talent for everyone, not to offer their own "artistic flair"
😐

She couldn't sing very well but at least she tried. My god was she ugly though.
All I could think of was that this was making my 1st cousin's day. She has been swooning after him for 40+ years. I could never understand why she moved to Chicago either cause all she did was complain about the wind and the cold.
It was pretty bad, but nothing tops Carl Lewis.

The most pathetic thing I ever listened to
At least Carl was sort of funny.
What I can't stand is to see how many people, including coaches and athletes, don't seem to be paying any attention whatsoever and fail to salute the flag.
Well, they asked for Steven Tyler, and they got Steven Tyler. At least he knew the words and was on key.
