Anyone else have music, loud, while working in the office today?
?ÿ
Did everyone hear the part about the monkey?
?ÿ
?ÿ
I hope everyone else is having an awesome weekend! I know I am...
Dougie
The monkey said, ??listen Jack???
The buzzard took the monkey for a ride in the air
The monkey thought that ev'rything was on the square
The buzzard tried to throw the monkey off his back
The monkey grabbed his neck and said, "Now, listen, Jack
Straighten up and fly right, straighten up and fly right
Straighten up and fly right, cool down papa, don't you blow your top
Ain't no use in divin'. What's the use of jivin'?
Straighten up and fly right, cool down papa, don't you blow your top"
The buzzard told the monkey, "You're choking me
Release your hold and I'll set you free"
The monkey looked the buzzard right dead in the eye and said
"Your story's touching, but is sounds like a lie"
Straighten up and fly right, straighten up and stay right
Straighten up and fly right, cool down papa, don't you blow your top
Imelda May - (sigh}...
Awesome...
?ÿ
Imelda May - (sigh}...
She was born Imelda Mary Clabby on July 10, 1974.?ÿ Probably dropped the surname as it is not so glamorous.?ÿ If pronounced as Clab-bee, that is reminiscent of clabber and crabby.?ÿ Neither is a positive.?ÿ If pronounced as Claw-buh, that is reminiscent of clobber.?ÿ Not a positive.
Anyone else here know/knew an Imelda at some time.
Our two-room school in 1960/61 had a teacher for the upper four grades whose name was Imelda.?ÿ My sister had her as a teacher, while I was in the other room with Grace.?ÿ During that school year, her son, daughter-in-law and two young daughters were in a terrible car wreck.?ÿ The daughter-in-law and the baby died and were buried in the same casket.?ÿ I remember attending the viewing and the funeral.?ÿ Imelda made it to 97.?ÿ Her son, her only child, survived the crash with the older daughter.?ÿ He is now 91.?ÿ By absolute coincidence, yesterday my wife was talking about a recent funeral where the father and baby were buried in the same casket.?ÿ That reminded me of the 1961 funeral in Imelda's family.?ÿ Then the above post appeared.
Anyone else here know/knew an Imelda
I had a Great Aunt; Amelia Kinnard, but that's as close as I get...
Imelda May gives me goose bumps...

Johnny got a boom boom
Those big bass notes
Thunder in my chest
Mmm, stuck in my throat
Pulling me down
Like a rumble in the ground
Crawls up from the depths
With a deep down sound
Johnny got a bam
He got a...
Lonely neck
Swear it was a women
That he had in his grip
Big vibrations, yeah
Just one glance
He's gonna blow my mind
He's gonna make me wanna
Make me wanna, ohh
Johnny got a bam
He got a...
See what's in his hands
Got no joy
He's a big bad boy
You're gonna shriek out loud
He's got ya in his hands
He's gonna make ya wanna
Make ya wanna, ohhh
Johnny got a bam
He got a...
See what's in his hands
Got no joy
He's a big bad boy
You're gonna shriek out loud
He's got ya in his hands
Gonna make ya wanna
Make ya wanna, ohh
Johnny got a bam
I said that johnny got a boom boom
Ohh yeah, Johnny got a
He got a, he got a, he got a
How faint the tune
Somewhere there's heaven
How high the moon
When love is far away too
Until it comes true
That you love me as I love you
How near, how far
Somewhere there's heaven
It's where you are
If you would come to me soon
Until you will, how still my heart
How high the moon
How faint the tune
Somewhere there's heaven
How high the moon
If you would come to me soon
Until you will, how still my heart
How high the moon

No....
I knew her in the late 70's early 80's
Maybe not...I don't know...
I'll never do you no harm...
I can't find my way home...

Perhaps this Amelia, then.?ÿ One other familiar surname in that cemetery.

@dougie?ÿ
Yes.?ÿ It is.?ÿ Hillside Cemetery is how it is listed.
This appears to be the next step up the Kinnaird family tree.

I am not familiar with how Canada handled census records.?ÿ The US has them at least every 10 years since 1790.?ÿ Those from 1950 are slowly coming on line.?ÿ A minimum of 70 years after the census is when they become available.
