The USS Nassau returned from the Middle East a couple of weeks ago and my son has decided to spend his leave time in our recently departed stomping grounds of Bend and Eugene instead of coming up here to visit Mom & Dad. I've decided that I would like to meet up with him and take care of some personal stuff at the same time. I'll be arriving in Bend late on the 2nd and leaving on the 8th. I plan on visiting some relatives in the Bend area and making a run over to Eugene. There's the possibilty of squeezing in a day trip to Portland, unless the Ferg's are planning on visiting the same relatives over the long weekend. Wouldn't mind making the time for some beers and story telling with some fellow professionals. Hope to run into some of you.
My wife and I are in Dallas, Oregon, just 13 miles west of Salem. Let us know when/if you will be in the area or going through and we'll happily meet you somewhere for coffee/lunch/dinner/whatever. 🙂
We/I would absolutely enjoy meeting up with you, wherever we can!! If we have to drive down to Eugene to meet ya or even over to Bend for a night we'll do it!! Might do Wendell and I some good to take an over night trip anyhow.
