Is that a Stetson sittin' on top of your head in your new "selfie" avatar?
That's a right dapper sombrero mi amigo. Surveying in Somervell County must be paying good.

No, that's a model known as the "Marfa Low Crown" made by Atwood. I bought that hat in Fort Davis where I spent much of the last week.
One of the locals:
And a typical scene:
All hat and no cattle:
I like the hat
From the smaller picture I thought it was felt, but in the larger one I can see it's straw. If it keeps your head covered and you like it, it doesn't matter what others think.

What's that funny looking critter in the pic? (Not you, the first one);-)
Yepper, Atwood's and other popular "you roll it" cowboy hats are available in nearly every feed-store, farm & ranch supply store, and in many mom & pop hardware stores - usually down the "dude" isle where other quality western items are found, such as ACME boots, and the ever present blue and red "bandannas".
Kent sent me a note previously, tiz a Javelina

We had a new Atwoods open up here and they were advertising Wrangler denim shirts at really good prices. They looked the same, but just not quite right. We folded them over and one had one sleeve over an inch longer than the other sleeve, snaps that didn't quite line up, too much material on one side, etc. Took them all back.

I buy the majority of my work clothes at Atwoods, mainly Carhartt and Wrangler. Never ran into any factory seconds that I know of. I've only had one pair of boots (Ariat) from there and just didn't like the fit. Nothing wrong with the quality, just didn't feel them.
A man has to like his boots...

I hope you never do, but for me it was three for three - two were obviously miss cut, the third was only visible when laid next to a regular Wrangler shirt and you could see the extra material included in the pattern. Check 'um good!

I've been searching for BEE hats for about 10yrs, I think they went out of business.
Most outlets have a choice of where their source of goods come from and occasionally they get an offer from someone distributing seconds, rejected and mismatched items that are not what the tags say they are.
Now try on every pair of pants and overalls because it is hard to tell otherwise.
Don't be ashamed if you are caught with a measuring tape in the clothes section either, it pays off in the end.
