I have a summons for Jury duty on Monday Am. I'm supposed to call sometime after 5 pm tonight to see if the case was settled or if I still have to show up.

I've never had ANYTHING good happen on a "first thing Monday morning" appointment.?ÿ I usually reserve that time for my second cup of coffee or something else just as strenuous.?ÿ 😉

I received a summons for Federal Jury Duty yesterday in the mail. This will be my first experience for the US Federal Court System.
There is an easy way out of jury duty.?ÿ
When they ask you the usual questions tell the judge that you believe in jury nullification. You will be asked to leave.
Jury duty is an honor.?ÿ Having to sit before them would be humbling.
Grand Jury duty is interesting and I suggest you do not turn that down if given the opportunity.
