Is anyone having any visitors?
Last year I had several but had nothing to give out since I'd been helping a friend move that day and really didn't realize what day it was. I felt terrible so yesterday I went and got 3 bags of snickers so as not to be a jerk this year. Now watch - I bet I don't get anyone show up this year. No problem... you think I got Snickers on their account? 🙂 I love them so if no one shows, I got candy!!
Actually I'm hoping my little buddies down the street will show up.
I have had 30+, and more coming. On second 100 bag of candy.
Haven't had goblins to show up this far out in close to 20yrs.
I remember moving into a house in 1978 just before they went around and I was in #1 spot for them inside of town. Forgot all about the day and by luck had bag of butterscotch and peppermints that almost held out. Gave the drumsticks from my supper away to the last few goblins that came by before my lights went out.

I had a goblin, with a big knife, (space alien might be more accurate) chase me around the local grocery store. It seems he was not able to frighten others, but, seeing I was terrified, he was well satisfied!

I only had one group show up. Kind of disheartening really. My little buddy down the street, Jose, showed up with all his siblings. That was it.
Last year we had about 100+ kids. I ran out of 3 bags of candy. This year I bought the big bag pieces of GOOD all Chocolate candy from Costco & sent Wendell out to get a another bag of Skittles just in case. We had 41 show up (I used my clicker to count.) This means I have plenty of candy left!!
Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing cause we both like to eat it all! Dog & rats too!! 😉 <:3(____)~~~~~~
We had our usual 600+/- show up............
We had one trick or treater. First time in 10 years! And it was a surveyor's son!
Not 1, in 12 years.
I love my country home.

Turnout was light last night and ended early due to the cold.
My wife went to store after the first hour to get some necessities. No one showed up on the second watch.
