Taking the family to see the Grand Canyon later this Spring. We'll be staying in one of the Bright Angel Lodge historic cabin/suites.
I've tried to find a detailed map of the lodge units to get a better idea where the unit sits for view.

Anyone have a map of the Bright Angel Lodge site?

Sweet!

Are those the cabins that are near Phantom Ranch? We camped at Bright Angel Campground at Bright Angel Creek. The all you can eat beef stew dinner was well worth the hike to the bottom. I've never tasted better food!

They also serve Tecates too!

Enjoy the trip!

George - you might try this:

Phantom Ranch

The view from anywhere in the canyon in any direction is equally incredible...

Looks like 10+ miles down the North Kaibab Trail to the Phantom Ranch from the cabin. I'm sure the hike would be great but probably not in the cards this trip.

Thanks!

Sorry George - I misread your post - maybe this will help:

Bright Angel

Are you driving? Coming on I-40?

Yes and no.
We're actually spending half our trip in Vegas. Flying into LAS, driving to Williams, doing the train - 3 days, then back to Vegas for the balance of our trip.
