I'm soon going to be in Tulsa (my first time anywhere in OK). Does anyone have suggestions for really good restaurants or for anything in the category of "Darn, I wish I had seen that when I was there?"

By the way, I'm headed there to compete with one of my dogs in the AKC's National Agility Championship. He had qualified for the 2020 event, but that got canceled by COVID, and he was grandfathered into this year's event. We're not a team for the finals, but it'll be a fun capstone to his agility experience before he goes into semi-retirement.

We were blown away by Bodean Restaurant & Market, www.bodean.net for an unexpectedly large group dinner after attending a funeral.?ÿ Food and service were wonderful.?ÿ We were a walk-in party of 20 and they handled us with aplomb.

I am one to appreciate a locally owned restaurant and this one didn't disappoint in any way.?ÿ Seafood was ultra-fresh and meals were very affordable.

The exterior is not impressive, but don't let that fool you.?ÿ

About 30 miles northeast of Tulsa is Claremore, home to the Will Rogers Museum.?ÿ About 45 miles to the north-northwest is Woolaroc Museum and Nature Preserve.?ÿ If either is within your time constraints, check them out on line.?ÿ Somewhere I have a picture of me when I was about four years old at Woolaroc.?ÿ Frank Phillips, the name behind Phillips Petroleum, created Woolaroc (woods/land/rocks).?ÿ I don't know if the display still exists but I remember human shrunken heads from somewhere in South America, I think.

@holy-cow

I've been to the Will Rogers Museum in Claremore and will attest that it is the most pleasant and enjoyable thing there is in Claremore.?ÿ If you find yourself in Claremore with a few hours to kill I recommend that you kill them there.?ÿ?ÿ

@jp7191

Punctuation counts. That's "Waffle House" in capital letters. Where the "People of Walmart" go to dine.?ÿ ?ÿ

I opened that web page in a new tab. I saw a unhappy clown, then I saw skin coloured yoga pants which made me LOL, then I scrolled on and it got funnier - someone should post some of those images on here.

Some things that are seen cannot be un-seen.?ÿ That's the hazard with those pictures.
