I just made my CAD guy climb 10 stories in Tower 3. We did 328 separate 7 inch risers in exactly 8 minutes. Sent him back to office to sit at his computer and cramp up.
😀
There we go, tormenting the help (or as I've heard it called "office puke"). Aren't there laws against harassment? :-X
I was visiting the Coast Guard in New Orleans one day when they had some terrorist attack drill or something - a drill that meant we had to evacuate by stairs, no exceptions made for fat out of shape salesmen. I forget if it was 18 or 23 stories but whatever it was my thighs were on fire about 36 hours later.

Been there and done that. I can sure tell I've been in the office for the last 6 months. Everything seems to make me sore now.
I have one of those "standing desks" so I can spend time on my feet during the day. However, it is a really awesome model that has motors that allow me to raise it up to stand, or lower it down to sit. Very convenient. My legs have always been pretty fit, but now that I'm in my upper 40's, I figure I need to pay more attention to what goes on with them.
When I clicked on this thread I was expecting to see something along the lines of "I redefined the value of pi in AutoLISP."
I've bee trying to get my mountain legs back for an upcoming sheep hunt in August climbing equivalent of 300 stories couple times a week. First climb was last Sunday. Monday I was a little sore, Tuesday my thighs hurt so bad going down stairs I wanted to cry like a little girl. Almost ready to do it again.
All you would have received from me on a normal day was a big laugh in your face if you expected me to keep up with you.
In the event of an actual emergency situation, I would not hesitate to carry you or anyone out of there.
