Just smoked up the last of my Son's deer jerky.?ÿ Just something about it but it tastes better when you do it all yourself!

Much more of a Joplin or Jefferson Airplane fan myself but I like the tie in!

No, it's a custom job I built.  The case is a heated holding cabinet I picked up used at a restaurant auction.  The smoke comes from a pellet burner I got from Smoke Daddy.  It's very similar to the smoke generator on a Traeger.  The heated holding cabinet has an electric heating element in the bottom with an air circulation system.  That together with the pellet burner & additional smoke ring and I get a very wide heat range with lots of smoke and even heat distribution.  I'm looking for a different heating element assembly that also has a water reservoir.  That will provide better humidity control which is important for doing hanging sausages.  It's a work in progress but I enjoy tinkering with it.

@cameron-watson-pls Looks good. I have a small Traeger here and the house. In our competition trailer we used to have a Cook Shack but it didn't fair well with travel and weather.  Your home built smoker looks quite impressive!
