Never heard of it. You are going to make me look now! We will see if I can resist until after work.

"Common Sense Internet Security 2015
This oneÛªs unusual in that itÛªs free and considered by far the best protection out there, yet canÛªt be downloaded anywhere. Without it, however, even the best security software is rendered useless.
If you havenÛªt already figured this out, Common Sense 2011 isnÛªt a product you can download so much as it is a state of mind. If youÛªre going to be free of viruses and malware you need to use your head while browsing the web. The most important thing to remember is this: if something sounds too good to be true, it probably isÛÛand your computer will probably be compromised.
Free porn usually isnÛªt. Warez are best to be avoided altogether. Nigerians that need your help transferring money are never actually princes or princesses. You get the idea: avoid shady sites online and youÛªll find youÛªll get far less malware on your machine.
This is the World's #1 Internet Security Solution !"
indeed Common Sense is rare

If it were truly "common" wouldn't everyone have it????

What do you mean?
it means.....use your own common sense. This is not "software," it is a "mindset."
Bad or dubious websites need to be avoided. It is similiar to NOT shaking hands with a person who obviously has a cold. It you do, wash your hands (run malwarebytes, etc.) ASAP. Better yet, just don't shake hands (go anywhere on the web where potential malware, phishing, viruses or Trojans reside). Practice "safe intimacy", or web browsing, downloading, etc. and keep your computer protected by limitiing or avoiding exposure to the World Wide Web and having a good anti-virus and malware software installed on your computer. Think about it.....how does Google have such a vast amount if information available on a search for practically anything in 0.2334567 seconds? "Bots," or little pieces of software scooting around the worldwide web looking at every single website out there and reporting back to Google's huge database storage center with collected information for almost instantly retrievable search results. And who else does this? Corporations we know, and agencies we don't know. It is incredible at the amount and type of information collected on everyone and every thing. All available, some free, and some for a price. There is hardly any such thing a privacy anymore.
Last Saturday, I downloaded a .pdf file at the top of the list in a Google search for a user's manual for a Sokkia total station. I was in a conversation and was not paying attention when I clicked on an executable file. After I did, I wondered "why" an .exe file for a .pdf file? Too late.....Microsoft malicious software removal tool found two bad files, but hung up and stopped running, then quit....twice. Malwarebytes came to the rescue and found 909....yes, 909 viruses, Trojans, tracking software, browser hijacking programs, and 12 new icons on my desktop for software I did NOT want. I deleted the found files, and restarted my system twice to complete the removal, and then ran the anti-malware software again. Two hours of my time spent fighting this intrusion from one "little" inadvertent click when my head and attention was not where it should have been. I felt dirty......violated......unclean...! It is difficult to believe that there are sicko people out there whose sole purpose in life is to create this kind of malicious intrusion. I wish bad things upon them.
Next time, I will go directly to the Sokkia website. I will use something called "common sense" and Romberg (again) "lesson learned." It is sad to note that I have had to learn this lesson more than once. In my defense, sometimes it is hard to tell. Just be careful out there in cyber land.
"Romberg" = "remember."
Dang autocorrect........
