Helen and the first Akita in America
Interesting little story here connecting Helen Keller to introducing the Akita to the U.S. Hunted this up last week when, for the first time ever in doing a million crossword puzzles, a clue read "first brought to America by Helen Keller". It was a good thing I could solve all the crossing clues as I had absolutely no idea what she had brought to America.
