Decorah Eagle Update

That bird has no clue that 78,000 people are watching her live, it's a crazy world these days.

I think it was close to 150,000 viewers yesterday afternoon. It's pretty neat to be able to watch them in their natural state. Mama looks sleepy right now but earlier she was feeding the new young'un some wabbit that Pops brought in about 5:00 P.M.

Mama just stirred around some and you could see the young'un fuzzin' around a bit...

a pair of Red-tailed Hawks chose a fire escape outside an office in downtown Portland to make their nest. This was in May 2007, they have a live stream link and have had a few babies each year. Currently there are 4 eggs in there and Tons of people watching.

I've been watching this daily!! It's in my signature line. 🙂

Thanks for this link BL, worried about the one little guy a while ago, it was peepin' like crazy and Mom wasn't letting it in under, or feedin', was way out by the edge. Then she snagged it and brought it in under her...wife asked me a good question. "How do they power the webcams, is it a hard line or maybe PV, can't be batteries?" Told her I would ask you guys!!

Probably should have spelled out the BL part to be Beer Legs, and also it is dark here now and I can still see the web cam just fine, I know they have an infrared cam too, but...by the way I missed Dad bring in the other feathered creature, is it a crow or pigeon?
