What is bad is when you go to the beach and some folks don't realize that the goods have gone beyond the expiration date. I leave my shirt on and never wear a speedo as a contribution to society.

Went to the dermadoc Tues. for my annual spritzing with liquid nitrogen - I average a couple of keratoses every time I go; Doc says it's best to keep on top of them - best for my long term health, and best for his billing.

Anywayyy - while we're in the exam room, I glance at his laptop, which had my file open on the screen - with a picture of some really decrepit, ugly old fat guy instead of young, handsome and virile moi. When I pointed out the obvious error he laughed and offered to take a new photo, as that one WAS, after all, 4 years old. Sheesh.

I guess I'm pretty lucky that SWMBO will still climb in the sack with me....

. That's another thing- doctors- most the time I look at them and don't think they're old enough to have a first aid merit badge, let alone a med school diploma....

I like old doctors. I mean doctors that are older than myself. I have to admit, they're getting harder to find.

I was by the FBO at the local airstrip the other day just to hang out and have some coffee. There were three 'older' pilots there that were in the process of dragging their Stearman out of the hangar and putting some hours on the Jacobs radial screwed to the front side. Their conversation turned to their current "medical" certification. One of the old birds jokingly quipped the only way he kept his medical cert was by still having a doctor that was older than him.

The other two were seriously interested in the other's doctor's name and phone number...
