How many Alabama football
players does it take to change a
lightbulb?

Don’t know. But it’s worth four
credit hours.

It's takes the same number as North Carolina basketball players required to do the same thing.

My wife would agree with you - she's a Duke fan.

I thought it was retired government employees, and the punch line was "but they still get their pension!" 🙂

I mean, Roll Tide Roll!!!!

P&R mentioned in the same sentence with "Alabama football" seems a little out of the ordinary in itself.... (or any other high profile football oriented university).

take for instance Cardale Jones (Ohio State's phenomenal QB) and his October tweet:

The man was right.
College football has nothing to do with going to classes.
We all know that. Can't we all stop pretending?

And I say that as a person who has no interest whatsoever in minor league football.

Well, he tweeted that 2 1/2 years ago and has stayed in school and did not opt into the NFL draft this spring.
Since his tweet, he has become an articulate person with a bright future in sports. The world is his oyster as they say.
Ncaa football is a mega billion $ entertainment industry so besides the opportunity for a free education, the players should receive supplemental rewards in the form of income and/or living expenses.

Football in the southern states is distinctly different from the rest of the country.
