This is where I'll be tomorrow, floating down the river. The biggest challenge is to keep your beer cold.

Have a great weekend Beerleggers.

Gather up Mr. Jim Simpson and Mr. Jerry Knight and take them along...they could point out the OHWM.

Report:

All went well. They even seemed a bit more organized this year. The past 3 were a major cluster eff, but they had it together this year. Had 3 launch sites for the estimated 18,000 people. Not sure how many, but more than last year for sure (10,000).

Only one extraction point posted, and I hear that was really bad. We got out about 1000 ft upstream, on the Nevada side with friend waiting. Smooth as silk, as we watched them all get bollexed (is that a word?) up in chaos - just like the last 3.

Around 100 and cloudy the whole time (balmy, and first time ever for clouds). It even rained a few times, which was nice. Except my girlfriend was unhappy due to both the clouds and the rain.

Beer even stayed cold. Guy on the left is a fellow RLS. Past years we've had a solid 12x12 floating raft, but this year decided to go via tube. The raft is more interesting, but the tubes are far easier.
