looks like a booger to me. or maybe that scar on my knee.
Far more likely to be a digital imaging artifact than an alien space artifact, kind of like the sunken city people thought they found on the sea floor which just turned out to be sonar imaging artifacts.

It looks about as real as the "Face on Mars", which was a real bona-fide pile of rocks.
When we were scanning the surface of Mars, we did about 10% of the planet in the high resolution. If that area happened to be included in the high-resolution scans, we should see them made public.
Of course, it will probably garner as much notice as the high-resolution scans of the "Face on Mars" area, which most people have never seen, because the pictures just aren't that interesting.
