In the Eastern time zone at about nine minutes to seven this morning, there was a short discussion about the surveying profession.?ÿ Like most people, the radio show hosts had no idea what we do.?ÿ One of the comments about what happens while we look through the eyepiece and then wave our arm was, "What are they doing!?"?ÿ I imagine this will repeat itself across the country for the next couple of hours if you happen to be near a radio.?ÿ It was later followed by a great bit from Captain Dave.
I've listened to their show a few times on accident when traveling. it's mostly 80s and 90s canned jockularity based radio and somewhat mysogenistic.?ÿ not my style of radio, but I did come up with a psuedo_name change for them based on my experience:
The Ass and Hat show.
?ÿ
ymmv.
I've listened to them a few times and I don't mind their content, the part I can't stand is Tom's laugh. It just rubs me the wrong way and I can't change the station fast enough.
I think they were one of the first to have Roy D. Mercer on their show.
@squirl The show is packed with fake/forced laughter, but Roy D. Mercer is a national treasure.
Earl Pitts.?ÿ Why listen to anyone else?
I saw the B&T show live once, and Roy D Mercer made an appearance.?ÿ I spit out lots of beer laughing that night!
