Bizarro is one of the comics I haven't seen in ages.?ÿ I do enjoy the joke but have questions.?ÿ Why is there a stick of dynamite next to the whatchamacallit pole, a pipe leaning on a tree root, a flying alien and an eyeball just hanging out on the lawn?
The eyeball, dynamite and spaceship are in every one of his cartoons somewhere.
That's supposed to be just part of the weirdness but if you dig a little further you'll find this, https://www.bizarro.com/secret-symbols.?ÿ Surveyors just can't help themselves from examining a monument or traverse point.?ÿ
?ÿ
I was also curious if that scanning total station was a product placement ad since it seems unusually detailed and current (apparently there were no tripod sponsors ??? ).?ÿ
I see only four of the seven secret symbols that should appear based on the number above his name.
?ÿsecret symbols
Flying saucer, eyeball, crown (twice), dynamite, pipe. The number 7 in the signature is how many should appear, so I flunk.
I found a list of possibilities, but can't find a bunny, bird, pie, fish, K2, O2, lost shoe, or arrow.
Damn Unc, you got a good eyeball left, (or right?) I would have never spotted that. ?????ÿ
K2
Yup. And I scanned those squiggles carefully, but not from the best angle.
There are 7, just not 7 unique symbols.?ÿ
Look here: https://www.bizarro.com/secret-symbols and then look at the comic again....
Ken
Is that an instrument on top of the rod that the cat is holding??ÿ
I rarely miss a Bizarro comic.?ÿ You can get them a week at a time, with the author's comments, here:
@bill93K?ÿ ?ÿ K2 is on the surveyors pants.
