@norman-oklahoma  My County of St. Clair (pop. 270k) in Illinois was was of the hardest hit in the State - 90% of all cases and deaths are 80+ folks in Nursing Homes with underlying heath conditions. Our Nursing Homes have been destroyed. I heard today, that yesterday we reported zero new cases. In the normal course of life we loose ~205 resident to natural deaths per month, I don't think we even lost 200 in the 120 days they've been tracking, including deaths of "Covid-19 related symptoms". But I think things will probably spike post protest/rally...

But honestly, I just don't want to go back to the office full time, I see no reason to go everyday. 1-2 days, sure, 5 days a week is a waste for everyone.

@stlsurveyor

Wonderful descendants have come from former residents of St. Clair County, Illinois.  Especially those who settled near St. Libory.

School districts are struggling with Summer weight training and body conditioning workouts.  I am aware of two school districts within 80 miles of here who have already suspended any further such gatherings due to multiple students having positive results for Covid-19.  Fall sports are a major question at the moment.  Friday night lights with no football games are unthinkable in the minds of many who haven't touched a football in forty years.

ok - I was pretty forward about this last week, so it's time to come clean. It definitely looks like cases are spiking up this week.

Although deaths seem to be continuing to trend down.
