I needed next week to be good weather to get the year end jobs done. Also my utility (ie mostly a draftsman but someone who could work in the field when needed) employee gave one week notice last Monday. Then on Tuesday he had a death in the family and that was the end of his week. This Monday was to start interviews to replace him. Now the weather forecast is for Sunday afternoon starting as rain and thunder storms then turning to snow with heavy snow and 40 to 50 mph winds till Monday afternoon. They are talking about 12 to 16 inches of snow at this point.
me and neighbor and his boy had us a right proper snowball fight. Then we proceeded to build a snow man.

Stay home. Nothing you could do in the field would be as productive as finding a new employee. There should be lots of applicants, would interview for at least a week before choosing.
You can't operate effectively at your present situation. Improve your ability to wage battle by checking out as many potential prospects as possible.

I like a good snowball fight just as much as the next guy, but wet snow ain't so awesome when you're at the business end of the shovel. In two days, your snow will be gone, so its good to hear that you are enjoying it. Merry Christmas to ya, Big E!
