Last winter was terrible, this summer has been short, wet and cool, which has been nice, but having snow on August 27th is too much!!! ?ÿ

Here in St. Louis we haven't had a measurable snow in about 8 years. Hight today of 90 heat index of 103....I would love snow, rain, hell, I'll take clouds and a breeze..

Yesterday topped out in the mid 90's with a heat index of around 100. Through the years I have pushed the limits and have suffered the consequences of heat exhaustion and I was feeling very weak yesterday. I stayed out longer than I should have and I still feel it this morning. Probably explains why I passed a few very small kidney stones last week.

I would love for Georgia to receive 10 feet of snow.

Snow in August.?ÿ Not something I would ever expect in my part of the planet.?ÿ We are still in upper 90's, low 100's.?ÿ Typically we cool down around first week of September, when rains move in, but our weather has fooled us a couple of times this year, soI am not getting my hopes up.

It has probably rained at least a little bit 48 out of the last 50 days here. When it does the temperatures dip into the high '80's, when the sun is out they climb back into the low to mid 90's. I've been out in the field twice in the last couple weeks on jobs that required FRC, once the temperature goes above 90 I'm cooling down in the truck a lot.

Meanwhile, in the normally rainy PNW, there has been hardly a drop since early June. And none in the 10 day forecast. But days of heavy smoke from wildfires.

The?ÿPNW rain has missed the PNW and dropped down to the east, here is a pic near Moorcroft WY, usually it's bone dry there in late August, now it looks like early spring, and it's that way at least from Billings to Rapid City this year. It's been a weird year, and we are getting all the smoke from California and parts west?ÿalong with the rain, no fires near here.

Drying out here after 18 inches of rain in July. Low 90's, 94% humidity at 7:00AM down to 60% humidity at noon. Still hot and sticky.

We finally got a break in the Inland Empire (San Bernardino area) with highs in the upper 80s to very low 90s inching back up to 95 by Thursday. Almost the entire summer, we've had multiple days of 100?øF or higher. That's unusual. Usually we'd get a week or two in late July and August.?ÿ
