I would love for the laser function to be able to "burn" a hole through the underbrush so I would not have to cut line!

I think you're supposed to use a filter for solar observations.

I always wanted the robot to go crazy when someone walked up to it: Spinning with a wailing horn and some robotic voice shouting "Danger! Laser charge at 90%. Back away!"
This would be a great addition to the anti-theft robot. "Flame thrower activated. Back away or risk losing your eyebrows."
