35 MPH winds are bad for surveying no matter what the thermometer says.

Derek,

I'm sure, based on your avatar, that your conditions are far worse.
I used to love the cold, and hate the heat...

Now...I don't like the cold as much..

I am experiencing the exact same thing Joe.... hate the heat, don't like the cold as much. Moved from the Boston area to the Baltimore area and got hit by totally brutal summers and some pretty nasty winters. Kinda cured me of wanting to work outside with only about five nice days a year around here......

time to put the shorts away for the season and get your big boy pants on 🙂

We're heading out to stake 30 pilings on a job on the bay with the wind in our faces! winter suit kind of day today...
Same conditions as Joe is facing. 29 degrees, with 30 mph NW winds....

It's up to 36 degrees here. No wind and people are breaking out shorts and flip-flops.

I understand... when I was young and had thicker blood, I would do the same thing... my blood is finally thinning out a tiny bit after being south of the Mason Dixon line for 20 years... and old age must be setting in as well......
