Big Proposal Dog & Pony Show = Suit
Client Meeting = Blazer/Sports Coat & Tie

I recently had a meeting with one of the local billionairs: I wore what he did, workboots, jeans, workshirt.

He would have sent me down the road if I showed up in a suit.;-)

different places, different customs.

True.

I wore grey flannel or khaki pants, oxford shirt, tie, and blazer to school every day for four years. Kind of indoctrinates you 😉

From website, not me;-)

Dressed for Success

Students are expected to be well-groomed and neatly dressed in accordance with good taste.

Mandatory school attire consists of:
•Navy blue blazer (blazers must be worn at all times. As weather permits, the Dean will decide the necessity for blazers. Generally, jackets are required from mid-October to mid-April. Students’ names must be marked clearly in all blazers)
•Khaki trousers
•Belt
•White, light blue, or light yellow solid-colored shirt, always neatly tucked into the pants
•Tasteful necktie
•Socks
•Brown or black hard-soled dress shoes only, including bucks, loafers, dress tie shoes

Hair is to be kept combed, neat, clean, and at a length and style judged appropriate by the Dean of Students. Faces are to be clean shaven. Students are not to wear: boots (including Timberland boots), canvas or cloth tennis shoes, moccasins, athletic sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, apparel associated with a college or professional sports franchise, head phones, earrings, tattoos, hats, or other accessories to the dress code; nor extreme haircut styles.
