Hurry Up, Oh Never Mind

An insurance company attorney asked for a quick proposal to measure the height of a sidewalk panel in a trip-and-fall matter.  I dropped what I was doing, reviewed the photos he sent, and emailed the proposal.  He got back just as quickly with a signed contract, so I set up the job in my accounting and job tracking applications and put it on the calendar for next week. 

Then I decided to take a look at Google Earth Street View to make sure I understood just which sidewalk panel we were talking about.  That's when I saw the images of the brand-new sidewalk, which I sent to the attorney for confirmation.  His response was "Damn, I haven't been out there for a few months.  Never mind."
