Still trying to get out, last failure in February.....

However, his accomplice is back on the streets:

Ol' Hub got himself in a pretty permanent pickle. I bet he's old and grey by the time he sees daylight without the bars casting shadows.
If I remember right, his original defense was he was "just kidding and trying to teach the girl a lesson" by scaring her.
8 years for attempted murder- trying to kill someone unsuccessfully?!
Who is running our gov. system?
All he needs is one more chance..( at being a decent human being).

I think he got the dumb accomplice discount. Ty, on the other hand, is still looking at a 2037 release date. He'll be about 75 if he goes the distance.
Haven't thought about that name in quite a few years.
I remember our good old friend Hub from 15 plus years ago, from somewhere in Indiana or something. Him and TDD always were bickering. Always kind of edgy but never seemed too far out there. At least until we all got to hear about him and how things went really bad.
Hey, the wires cross and sometimes they snap. His snapped it seems.
Good luck Ty, don't do that dumb stuff anymore whenever you get out.
That would be great advice if he wasn't a prior felon with a lengthy criminal record prior to you knowing him.
Somehow most, if not all of us, easily manage to avoid felonies and prison time.
He's a prime example of the justice system gone wrong.
He got chance after chance, with his last employer knowingly giving him a 10th chance.
His offenses just got worse and worse until he tried to kill someone.
He will be a real charmer when he gets out .
Hopefully you were trying to bait someone out and not being serious.
You must not remember the guy who would threaten your life via. Private E-mail if he felt you "crossed him" with a discussion?

This wasn't a one time heat of the moment thing. There was planning and coordination in advance. Time was added to his sentence for being a "habitual offender". Hub was running a mail and bank fraud scheme with accomplices, which escalated.
"Evans occasionally paid nineteen-year-old Melinda Keedy to clean his house, do his laundry, and care for his yard. Keedy kept all her belongings at Evans's home and sometimes stayed there. Evans and Keedy were also partners in a scheme to commit bank fraud in Tennessee and Kentucky. Evans created false identity papers for Keedy that she used to open a bank account as well as checks that Keedy deposited in that bank account. He created these checks by stealing mail from mailboxes and copying information from the checks he found therein. Keedy would deposit or cash the checks created by Evans using a false thumbprint. However, in early May 2005, Keedy used her actual thumbprint to cash a check. When she informed Evans that she had done so, he became very angry. Evans was afraid the police would catch them, and he decided to kill Keedy..."
