Noticed that gold & silver has been trading at pretty high prices the past couple days. Gold at or near $1300 and silver over $21.

We can handle the politics, but it is only common courtesy to categorize them accordingly and keep things relatively civil. Neither of those common courtesies were extended by him to the other participants of this forum so why should we extend any courtesies to him?
It wasn't so much about the content as to how it was presented and where it was placed. Some people don't want to read it and have turned off that category and we respect that. He blatantly disregarded any respect for those who did not want to see political postings. Racial slurs are also not acceptable. It's all about respect.
Further, I lifted the IP ban on him, but have not (yet) unlocked his account, which would allow him to post again.
