Does anyone know of an online resource that lists (or links to) a state-by-state directory of the regulation that define the practice of land surveying in that specific state?

I recently took over operational & business management of a firm that performs geo-instrumentation monitoring of adjacent structures during construction & blasting.  80% of our business is pre and post construction structure inspections and remote vibration monitoring; but we occasionally perform some other geotechnical related instrumentation (inclinometers, air overpressure, sound monitoring) as well as some very limited automated total station monitoring.

I want to expand the services in the later and need to build a database of state regulations to see where deformation and settlement monitoring fall in relationship to the statutory definition of surveying. Was hoping someone had already done the legwork for me 😉 maybe @john-hamilton

I was wondering if this page was still "live".  This may help find them.

@dgm-pls I don't know of any list. But I think in many states this might fall under engineering in addition to survey

That's what I've found as well, especial with support of excavation. Also, there can be differentiations between measurements in relationship to published datums versus relative to an arbitrary baseline as to whether it is the practice of surveying. FWIW we do have PE's in all the states we work in as well as PG's in the states that require a license for them
