There was a bit of chat on here about not setting a corner monument because your client specifically told you not to set one.?ÿ A couple of days ago I saw a new survey related to this topic.?ÿ The survey firm had made a survey of an adjoining tract at some time in the past.?ÿ The new tract was adjacent to the prior tract but there was only one new corner monument to be set.?ÿ That was the one that was not set per client request.?ÿ The corner had to have been located because the two new dimensions were to the nearest 0.01 feet.?ÿ This is out in cattle pasture/hunting land with no buildings or other obvious structures to effectively use as a monument to provide some long lasting form of identification of the corner.?ÿ In case you didn't know this already:?ÿ Some clients are WEIRD.
