Did you ever resolve this?

Try buffing the cd with car wax.Or, try the 10 dollar cd scratch removers at best buy. Worth a shot.There are also companies that fix scratched CD's.....

I should have put all responses together....Remember that the fence may be off line a good bit...depending how close your shot on fence is to your BS....
