Trying to help a Retired Marine find a good Surveyor in the area. To aid in a boundary survey rural area that has been part of an Land Grant and divided by a creek at one point. There is a possible overlap on the property.  And I know not every one jumps on these jobs. I believe it was originally about 200 acres and he is just wanting to get this resolved for his dad.

I don’t know any surveyors in Tennessee.  But the name of Ten Mile jumped off the page at me.  The Ten Mile area is the cradle of my family’s roots here in the US of A.  They all settled there after the Revolutionary War.  The Edgemon Cemetery is about 2.5 miles E by SE from the grocery store there in Ten Mile.

I hope your friend finds someone to help him out.

@paden-cash oh wow. My family on one side came through the Cumberland gap and settled between there and Mississippi.  Yes I hold to find someone to help him for sure. He was a great leader and I would have followed him anywhere. He is just a good ole boy and has done well for himself. Way smarter guy than I am. I have reached out here and through others trying so sooner or later someone will pop up.

Hey, old timers around here.  Wasn’t Sam Clemons from Chattanooga?  That might be the closest I can come up with.  But, that’s not very close.
