The weather was in the 30's F today, and concrete that was cleared of snow is mostly dry after a couple other good days, although there are still heaps where the snow was moved to clear driveways and sidewalks, and the remnants of a glacier at the end of the driveway.?ÿ
I wanted to collect simultaneous sessions for my study of vector accuracy by various methods (there was a thread on this a while back). I only have one good battery so did it out in front of the house on an AC extension cord.?ÿ Not the best signal environment, but that's ok for this study.
Forecast was for rain mostly after 4 pm, then changed to 5 pm. A little after 3 pm I heard rain on the roof and rescued the equipment, particularly worried about the Office Support Modules that were collecting rainwater in the battery slots.?ÿ We'll see what I got after those have a chance to dry out before being plugged in again, and do a lot of processing for comparisons.

So where are you measuring from or to?

I'm interested in statistics of the vector between the two points, in this case closely spaced.?ÿ I plan to compare simultaneous long sessions, the variations of shorter sessions using whatever satellites the receivers locked to, and the variation when limited to the same satellites at each epoch.?ÿ Not sure if there will be enough different satellites in this configuration that requiring the same list will change the result, but it's a start and I can do a longer vector later.
At least the trees are bare.
What's that white stuff?
