Control Layouts, Inc. is a medium sized surveying firm in central New Jersey that is looking for a qualified project manager. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a project manager position and can be either licensed or unlicensed although licensed would be preferred.
Candidate should be well versed in GPS technologies including static processing, OPUS submissions and RTK using various methods. Candidate should also have experience with combining traditional survey observations with GPS observations as well as experience with least squares solutions.
Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of computer systems and software including Land Desktop, Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and various GIS platforms.
The job will entail the day to day management of multiple projects including large residential and commercial construction sites, ALTA surveys, Boundary and Topographic surveys etc… Candidate should be comfortable in dealing with clients and be able to do so in a professional manner.
This position will require experience with construction setup for multiple crews, field note reductions and preparation of cut sheets and stake plots as we currently have multiple large construction projects.
Ideally candidate should enjoy technology and be willing to help explore new advances and methods in surveying.
