About the Position:
L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. is located in Novato, Marin County, California.?ÿ Approaching thirty years of doing business throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. is a well-established Professional Land Surveying firm seeking a Land Survey Technician / Land Survey Intern in pursuit of a career as a Professional Land Surveyor.?ÿ This position may be tailored to the needs of those hired.
Responsibilities:
Learn to conduct research, field, and office work pertaining to the profession.
Work closely with the Principle Land Surveyor.
Work produced by L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. includes simple & complex boundaries, land title surveys (ALTA/ACSM), topographic mapping, least squares, lot line adjustments, monitoring, forensic, GPS, Elevation Certificates, map preparation, legal descriptions, subdivision mapping, construction staking, expert witness and mediation services.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift loads in excess of 50 pounds and be able to work in and around poison oak.
Will be operating one of our company vehicles and must have a clean driving record as reported by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the State in which the applicant??s driver??s license is issued.

AutoCAD Civil 3D
MS Office Suite
