Make sure and let them know your political beliefs and what you think of the current president and obamacare. They'll want to know if you would be compatible with the current staff and in particular your supervisor.

No, seriously, I agree with Larry and others. I like having a "base" resume, and refining it for each job. I might emphasize my "leadership" skills (if I had some) if it is a supervisory position, or my extensive boundary work (if I have that) if it is appropriate to that position. I would still have a list of all my survey skills, but more brief for some and more explicit for others depending on the job. Definitely keep in the fact that you worked for your dad in your younger years. You can do that in a few words.

I might even include some earlier work I had done if I think it showed integrity or management skills or some thing. You might keep that brief.....just a couple of lines for the job(s) that show those features you want to show.

my template... use as you wish

Much to the chagrin of my loving mother, one of my father's degenerate artist friends decided to teach me the word "bullchit", which I happily applied to all conversations within which I was included. Little did I know how important that word would become in my life.

I know I "borrowed" it somewhere... My brother used it, he is still out of work (looking on 3 continents). 😉

Don't forget the cover letter..

I saw this on Linkedin; thought it might help...

Amazing cover letter for job seekers
Cover letters are still necessary, and in a competitive market they can give you a serious edge if they are written and presented effectively.
Cover letters are a graceful l way to introduce yourself, to convey your personality and to impress a hiring manager with your experience and your writing skills, said Katy Piotrowski, an author of career books and a career counselor based in Fort Collins, Colo. You can also tailor them to a specific company in ways that you cannot with a résumé.

There are many candidates having brilliant results but unfortunately they are not getting a single interview call..

Forget about job offers... many people see months fly by without

landing ONE decent job INTERVIEW.

The cover letter carry’s an important part in job application.

Most job seekers don't have a clue about getting their "foot in

the door" for a job opening... not a clue.
It's no secret we're living in some of the most stressful and difficult times in years — and today's job market is a killer.
Be A Best Seller - Treat your cover letter like a book jacket for your resume. The potential interviewer will "judge the book by its cover" when it comes to your cover letter and resume so make sure that yours is the best it can be.
