What is the work situation on the Delmarva Penn? And what are summer's like down there?

I can say without a doubt it's a damn sight better than the Texas summer we're having.

Just based on a drive through a year or so ago, I'd say it's mostly seafood, tourism and farming there.
New Castle and Wilmington must be the primary urban centers.
Average paycheck is reportedly around $900 a week, which is below the national average.
I didn't see a whole lot of construction or development. Lots of orchards and truck farms, plus some poultry and livestock.
We took a roundabout drive of about 4 hours from Annapolis to Lewes, along US Rt 50, Rt 13 and Rt 9. Saw one roadway project, some minor shopping center construction, nothing big enough for full timers.
But then again, there's that Dogfish Head at the end of a long drive. Goes down good on the Cape May Ferry..........
